We created a spot for adidas Originals’ I_5923 (previously known as Iniki) sneaker line. The piece celebrates Iniki’s hybrid of past and present DNA by boldly presenting a visual clash between retro 70s styling and modern footwear technology (Boost). The piece positions Iniki at the intersection of culture and style, highlighting a pure symbiosis of authentic form and modern functionality.


我们为阿迪达斯的三叶草I_5923系列(原Iniki)创作了一条宣传短片。该片大胆采用了复古的70年代风和现代鞋类科技(Boost技术)进行视觉冲撞,以此体现lniki过去与现在所续DNA,从而突显出Inik本身所代表的文化与风格定位,强调了其原型和当代功能性的结合。

To help celebrate the 1 year anniversary of adidas Originals’ game-changing sneaker line “NMD,” we created a campaign featuring a crew of creative culture champions and fashion influencers including actors, television hosts, magazine editors, pop-singers, rappers, models, and style mavens.

We also created an animation for the campaign to show the evolution of NMD over the past year from the now-classic OG colorway to countless iterations of the extended NMD family.

The campaign ran chiefly on social media and digital channels throughout China, with some print usage as well.


我们为adidas Originals的颠覆型鞋款——NMD系列诞生一周年创作了一组以创意界文化先锋和时尚潮人为主角的平面作品,其中包括演员、主持人、杂志编辑、流行歌手、说唱艺人、模特、潮人等。借此来传达“过去赋能未来”的街头潮流精神。

我们同时也为此次推广活动创作了一条动画短片以展现NMD系列在过去一年中是如何从最初的经典配色款延伸到如今多重进阶款式及配色的NMD大家族。

该活动的平面视觉作品及其动画短片被主要用于中国大陆地区的网络和平面媒体宣传。

An Icon Reinterpreted

adidas Originals

To help relaunch adidas Originals’ iconic Gazelle sneaker for a new generation of cultural influencers around the world, we created a series of collage-inspired key visuals that re-imagined the classic sneaker silhouette.

For the campaign, we collaborated with 10 leading-edge artists from across China to celebrate the spirit of Adidas Originals and redefine boundaries with its retro bestseller. Participating artists included Ke Sai, Liu Peiyang and Zhang Dong from Beijing; Wan Qiao, Yuan Gungun, Sui Yao, and Yue Yi from Shanghai; Mo Houqie and Kean from Guangzhou; and Hu Qian from Chengdu.

The key visuals were leveraged commercially in digital media and retail environments in Greater China.


为配合adidas Originals复古鞋款Gazelle复刻系列的上市宣传活动进行创意造势,我们通过数码拼贴的手法对该系列的经典鞋型主视觉进行二次创作。

为此我们邀请了十位分别来自上海、北京、广州、成都且风格迥异的拼贴艺术家进行创作,以此传达阿迪达斯三叶草品牌的街头原创精神并重新定义这个畅销鞋款的无限可能。这十位拼贴艺术家分别为:可赛(北京),刘佩洋(北京),张栋(北京),晚樵(上海),元滚滚(上海),Sui(上海),乐毅(上海),莫厚切(广州),Kean(广州),胡潜(成都)。

在该项目中,拼贴艺术家们利用品牌代言人的主视觉KV和来自不同年代的经典产品元素来表现品牌精神,创作出的拼贴画作品被广泛运用于网络社交平台。除此之外,十位拼贴艺术家也利用参与品牌线上征集活动的KOL图片进行二次拼贴创作。

adidas Originals’ global ‘Unite All Originals’ campaign was about showing how originality is the result of ‘collisions’ between cultures, communities, and passions. The campaign featured collaborations between visual artists, designers, and musicians from all over the world to create something unique and exceptional.

For the China campaign, we curated and art directed the participating visual artists. We also created the campaign’s promotional content and storytelling assets. The campaign featured 8 artists groups from across the country culminating in a summer full of live-art performances and raucous parties in Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Xian, and Shenyang.


adidas Originals的全球“集结原创”活动向我们呈现独创性如何成为文化、大众和激情碰撞的产物。活动集结了来自世界各地的视觉艺术家、设计师和音乐人创作出独特而创意十足的作品。

我们为该活动中国站召集了参与活动的视觉艺术家,同时我们也创作了活动宣传内容和整体文案。整个活动集结了来自中国各地的八个艺术家/组合分别在广州、杭州、西安和沈阳这四个城市为大家呈现了一场夏日非凡的现场艺术表演和绝妙派对!

We also created this full-length profile of Hua Tunan in which he tells us about his creation process and inspiration while painting a huge mural for the campaign. The mural is centerpieced with the copy: 集结原创, Chinese for “UNITE ALL ORIGINALS.”

Take It To The Streets

We developed an out-of-home (OOH) campaign to support adidas Originals’ ZX Family “Take It To The Streets” campaign. The campaign leveraged guerrilla-style executions of wheatpaste street art posters throughout Beijing and Shanghai.

The posters were 1-to-1 full body-sized photography portraits of street-fashion models styled in adidas Originals’ looks wearing different ZX footwear. The posters were given a raw, selective desaturated treatment in which the models were made a muted black-and-white, while the ZX footwear were made bright and bold. The model poses in the posters were pre-designed to fit a variety of unexpected and interactive urban environments. The concept integrates different ZX footwear with street fashion and culture in an authentic, creative way.

We created a short documentary to capture the whole effort, from model photography and styling in our studio, to the graphic design and poster production, through to our street art teams in Beijing and Shanghai executing the artwork in the cover of night.


我们为配合adidas Originals ZX Family系列的“Take it to the Streets”宣传活动展开了一场游击式街头艺术活动,该活动在北京和上海两座城市以wheatpaste的街头海报形式呈现。

这些街头海报将穿着Originals服装配以不同ZX鞋款的街头造型依照真人比例印制而成。海报中的模特部分均呈低饱和度黑白原始效果,旨在让脚上的ZX系列鞋款以其固有配色凸显出来。让其巧妙地与城市环境相容并带有互动性,我们预先设计了这些模特姿势。此次概念将不同的ZX系列鞋款与街头时尚、文化和态度以极具创意且真实的方式完美融合。

我们同时为此次执行拍摄了一条短片以记录整个创作过程,从模特造型、棚拍到图片设计,再到最我们在北京和上海的连夜执行全过程。

ZX Flux Campaign Spots

We created :30 and :15 second campaign spots for adidas Originals’ ZX Flux collection. The spots tell a visual story of infinite possibilities and limitless future, positioning ZX Flux footwear as the essence of modernity and the modern look.

The spots feature celebrity brand ambassadors Deng Chao, Eason Chan, Wu Yifan, and Fan Bingbing and were leveraged digitally, in-store, and throughout the Beijing / Shanghai / Guangzhou metro. The Metro placement was as a stop-motion execution that interacts with viewers as a result of the train’s forward motion. The video below shows the final result.


我们为adidas Originals的ZX Flux系列创作了30秒版和15秒版的短片。短片一展具有摩登精髓和潮流外观的ZX Flux鞋款的无限可能及无尽未来。

We created the 2015 Fall / Winter seasonal campaign for adidas Originals. Working with celebrities and brand ambassadors Eason Chan, Fan Bingbing, JolinTsai, and Gianna Jun in raw, authentic, urban environments, the campaign key visuals communicated the true street fashion spirit of the brand.

The campaign was shot in Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Seoul with assets used in nationwide print media, retail / point-of-sale, and digitally. We collaborated with Detroit-based photographer Jeremy Deputat, Beijing-based photographer Chen Man, Seoul-based photographer Hong JangHyun, with select imagery also shot by agency creative director Adam Schokora.


我们为adidas Originals 2015 秋冬系列创作了平面硬广。这次的主视觉结合了色彩丰富的城市场景真实展现了其品牌代言人陈奕迅、范冰冰、蔡依林和全智贤的形象,在真实的城市场景中还原了品牌的街头时尚精神。

We created the 2015 Spring / Summer seasonal campaign for adidas Originals. Working with celebrities and brand ambassadors Eason Chan, Fan Bingbing, JolinTsai, and Gianna Jun, we combined a colorful palette with authentic, raw urban environments to communicate the brand’s true street fashion spirit.

The campaign was shot in Beijing, Taiwan, Shanghai, and Seoul with assets used in nationwide print media, retail / point-of-sale, and digitally. We collaborated with Detroit-based photographer Jeremy Deputat, London-based Photographer Jeff Hahn, Beijing-based photographer Chen Man, and Seoul-based photographer Hong JangHyun.


我们为adidas Originals 2015年春夏系列创作了平面硬广。这次的主视觉结合了色彩丰富的城市场景真实展现了其品牌代言人陈奕迅、范冰冰、蔡依林和全智贤的形象,并还原品牌的街头时尚精神。

Store Art Program

adidas Originals

adidas Originals engaged us to execute an art program in some of the brand’s key China market stores. The aim of the program was to introduce local art culture into adidas Original’s retail spaces and reflect the brand’s core values.


阿迪达斯三叶草委托我们在其中国市场的一些主要门店展开了一个艺术项目。该项目旨在将本土艺术文化带入阿迪达斯三叶草的店铺空间内并反映其品牌的核心价值。

For the project, we collaborated with a variety of local artists, including: Veiray, Wang Meng, Nini Sum, Wang Sijia, Huang Yulong, Ding Hao, Dun Xiaoxian, Xiaomi Keke, Coozie, and Shadow Chen to create brand-inspired installations and turned the stores into platforms for self expression, originality, authenticity, creativity, and individuality.

Veiray

Various elements come together to create a unique blue and white 3D collage and a new take on the adidas Originals logo. The piece aims to inspire others to discover their own creative potential.


以多重元素组合成为一个独特的蓝白色3D立体拼贴,并以全新造型展现阿迪达斯三叶草logo,该作品旨在启发他人发现自我的创造潜力。


Nini Sum

What looks like a random collage is actually composed of countless pieces of screen-printed materials stripped apart and meticulously pieced together to create the overall pattern and the adidas trefoil logos. Each piece of material comes from a unique screen-printing art work of Nini Sum’s. The design expresses originality, creativity, and the spirit of perseverance.


看似随意的拼贴实际上是由无数丝网印刷素材组成,这些素材被分割后再精细地重新组合成为一幅具有整体感的图案以及阿迪达斯三叶草logo,每一块材质都来自一幅Nini Sum的丝网印刷作品。该设计传达着原创、创意以及一种毅力。


Wang Meng

Movement, fashion, and culture are three pillars of the adidas Originals brand and capture the ideas expressed in this piece. The inspiration for this design comes from Adolf Adi Dassler’s classic three stripes, which travel above the mountains and clouds to create a world full of color and vibration.


动感、时尚和文化是阿迪达斯三叶草品牌的三大支柱,而这些都被融入这个作品中。该作品让Adolf Adi Dassler的经典三条纹穿行与山海和云雾之中,展现出一个色彩缤纷的精彩世界。


Nini Sum

The inspiration for this piece came from the adidas Superstar shoe. The reflection of the mirror is used to create the symmetry of the adidas Originals trefoil logo and express a sense of liveliness and youth.


这个作品的灵感来自于adidas Superstar的鞋型。利用镜面的反射原理创作出对称的阿迪达斯三叶草的图标,表达了一种活力及年轻的感觉。


Veiray

Different elements of street culture come together – criss-crossing and interweaving – to pay tribute to the adidas Originals trefoil logo and pass on the spirit of freedom.


将不同的街头文化元素层叠地穿插交错并聚集在一起 ,以表达对阿迪达斯三叶草logo的一种传承。


Shadow Chen

An imaginary island landscape where adidas Originals footwear and trefoil logo melt in and out of existence as colorful liquid forms, featuring patterns and textures unique to the brand’s footwear soles.


一个以液态形式将阿迪达斯三叶草的logo及其独特的鞋底图案与纹理进行变形的幻象岛。


Coozie

A colorful visual interpretation of windblown clouds that features the adidas Originals trefoil logo among other ‘set-of-3′ line forms and geometric shapes. The composition conveys a positive, uplifting energy.


被风涌起的云以三线性的形式再结合几何图形,并以丰富多彩的视觉效果诠释了阿迪达斯三叶草的logo。该作品传达了一种积极向上的能量。


Huang Yulong

Huang Yulong creates classic hip hop sculpture to pay homage to the adidas Originals brand and its spirit of creative expression.

For adidas Originals’ Festival Collection, we created a print campaign and a short film. The key visuals captured celebrity brand ambassadors Fan Bingbing, Eason Chan, JJ Lin, and Charlene Choi in raw, authentic urban environments true to the street-fashion spirit of the brand. The film was shot in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Beijing with a creative treatment and script that playfully combines the four celebrities. The piece reminds us that the festival season is a time to stop and think about the ones who matter most to us, how far we’ve come in the past year, where we’re going next year, and to no matter what, always be true to ourselves along the way.

We also created a short teaser to showcase the Festival Collection’s footwear line.

The print campaign was leveraged nationwide in retail, digital, OOH, and print media, with the film being broadcast digitally and in select retail / OOH locations.

For the key visuals, we collaborated with Los Angeles / Shanghai-based photographer Ben Miller and Beijing-based photographer Chen Man.


我们为adidas Originals新年系列创作了平面硬广及短片内容。这次的主视觉真实展现了其品牌代言人范冰冰,陈奕迅,林俊杰和蔡卓妍的形象,在真实的城市场景中还原品牌的街头时尚精神。短片以一个富有创意性的表达方式让四位艺人分别穿行于香港,台湾和北京城中最具代表性的场景中。这个作品希望提醒我们在节日季来临之时,应该想想谁才是对自己最重要的人,过去的一年都有什么收获,新的一年又有何期许,不论如何,还是应该忠于真我始终如一。

我们也为节日系列鞋款创作了一支预告片。

平面硬广被广泛运用于其全国零售店铺,网络,户外和平面媒体的广告栏,与此同时,短片也在指定店铺 / 户外播放。
